We were married in Japan during cherry blossom season and had Ross as our photographer — we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly professional, relaxed, and just so fun to be around... We’re so grateful for his support and would recommend him without hesitation.
B & C
Hi there!
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Ross Harrison — that’s me on the right (or below, if you’re reading this on your phone)!
I am a London-born musician turned photographer, now based in Tokyo, photographing couples, elopements and portraits across this beautiful and fascinating country.
I’m looking for adventurous people who want to explore, connect, and experience the real Japan, whether it be famous sites, hidden spots or intimate cultural experiences, or a mixture of all three!
As a former musician, I aim to bring a sense of rhythm and flow to my work, creating beautiful images filled with warmth, movement, and life.
While I once aimed to produce a smooth, rich tones on the trumpet, I now strive to compose photographs that feel timeless — “created with a musician’s eye and captured with a photographer’s heart.” (According to ChatGPT!)
Feel free to take a look around, check out my portfolio, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas for your own Japan adventure.
