Not at all. Most couples I work with are not accustomed to being photographed. I give straightforward direction when it helps, but much of the session is built around walking, talking and spending time together. You will never be expected to perform for the camera.

Yes. After learning what you enjoy and how you want the photographs to feel, I design a route around the light, season, pace and atmosphere. The goal is not to collect landmarks; it is to create a coherent story in Tokyo.

Absolutely. A hotel, neighbourhood, restaurant exterior, station or quiet street can carry more meaning than a famous view. Tell me why the place matters and I will look at how best to include it.

Yes. A simple private exchange can often be included in The Chapter or The Story. A styled ceremony, celebrant, florals or more extensive planning can be discussed as a bespoke experience with Elope in Japan. These services would incur additional costs beyond your photography collection.

Tokyo rain can be atmospheric, but comfort comes first. We can adjust the route, use covered areas, change the timing or discuss rescheduling under the booking terms.
